Additionally, Sarajevo cuisine has a number of ethnic restaurants where you can enjoy the diverse and delicious local cuisine. Traditional cuisine is part of the cultural heritage and identity of the city, and is characterised by authenticity of preparation and diversity of taste.

Service fee is included in advance, so tips are not mandatory but generally amounts to about 10% of the bill.

Restaurants that are more upscale usually accept credit cards.

Karuzo is the only specialised vegetarian restaurants in Sarajevo, but other restaurant also offer and serve a decent vegetarian menu.
