Sarajevo International Airport is the shortest connection between Sarajevo and the rest of the world. The airport building has been restored and modernised, including modern equipment installed to provides for safe traffic at this airport.

One-way fare is 5.00 BAM and 8.00 BAM for two-way tickets.

By bus

The bus station is a few minutes by tram ride from the city centre or about 10 minutes’ walk. It features a taxi stand, railway and tram station in the immediate vicinity of the station. If you are going to Baščaršija, choose tram number 1 or tram number in the direction of Ilidža.

Luggage lockers (around the clock): 5.00 BAM per hour (first 4 hours), every additional hour is charged 2.50 BAM

By car

Sarajevo is located in the central part of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is linked to the transversal of the two most important main routes in the region; that is, the Adriatic highway and Zagreb – Belgrade highway.

The main train station is a 10-minute walk from the very centre of the city. It features a taxi stand, bus and tram station in the immediate vicinity of the railway station. If you are going to Baščaršija, choose tram number 1 or tram number 4 in the direction of Ilidža.
